QCDA commissioned this work as part of the continuing process of monitoring the quality of units of assessment submitted to the Qualifications and Credit Framework (QCF) national database. It is intended that the project will help to improve quality in the design of units by providing feedback to organisations on the units they have submitted. In doing this, the project focuses on the consistency, comparability and standardisation across the sampled units to assess the degree of confidence in the mutual recognition and transfer of credit within the national framework.
