Enda Donnelly, B.Sc. PGCE, MA
Director of Qualifications and Learning, Stratagia Limited
Enda has been a Director of Stratagia since its foundation, helping to oversee the strategic direction and development of the business. She leads in the area of learning and skills on behalf of the company and its consultancy services.
Her current portfolio of work includes leading a project commissioned by QCDA on combining knowledge, skills and competence in QCF units and qualifications, consultation on a QCF qualification development on behalf of Asset Skills, overseeing the development of units and qualifications for a number of organisations and providing consultancy services to a local Lifelong Learning Network in the west midlands. She has extensive experience of working with employers as part of the QCDA Employer Engagement Project to bring their in-house training into the QCF.
Previously, Enda led a project for LLUK to analyse the needs of teachers transferring from schools to the FE sector the result of which was Orientation Guidance booklet which is now available to the sector. Enda’s other recent work includes a feasibility study jointly with the University of Hertfordshire about the participation of young people in higher education, consultancies with Lifelong Learning Networks in the West Midlands, a review of the Adult and Community Education Service in Wakefield and developing a Learning and Development policy and Strategy for School-Home Support field workers and managers.
Enda has had considerable success in leading projects for a range of organisations on behalf of Stratagia. Over the last two years, working with SSCs and awarding organisations, Enda has led a range of capacity building activities in unit and qualification development, reflecting the high level of expertise that has been developed in this area since the QCF began. Other work in QCF development that she undertook includes CPD Development Awards on behalf of Skills for Justice / the Children’s Workforce Network (CWN), designed for staff and volunteers working with vulnerable young people in different sectors.
Enda was previously a regional Director within a national awarding body, based in the West Midlands, and has extensive experience in the areas of qualifications, credit, quality assurance and widening participation. She brings to her role substantial experience from this having worked across colleges and other providers in the FE sector.
