Marketing Co-ordinator, Stratagia Limited
Mark joined Stratagia in October 2008 shortly after completing his degree in business and marketing. He has led the development of Stratagia’s marketing strategy, including a fundamental review of the vision for the business, the creation of a mantra that encapsulates that vision and branding that reflects the aspirations and ethos of the business. Mark has also been responsible for implementing many aspects of the strategy. This has included overseeing the development of a new website that is due to be launched in November 2009, writing and delivering internal and external newsletters, conducting market research and developing marketing collateral.
Prior to joining Stratagia Mark had gained practical marketing experience whilst working for the English Institute of Sport and Sheffield International Venues. This included being responsible for marketing the Sheffield Half Marathon in 2007. In this role he had to work with a wide range of stakeholders, develop and gain support for a marketing strategy, raise funds for the marketing activities and follow through to evaluate participants’ experiences with the event.
