Sampling units on the QCF database
We are reviewing 500 units currently within Qualifications and Credit Framework (QCF) qualifications on the database on behalf of Ofqual. The review is part of Ofqual monitoring process to ensure that units and qualifications within the QCF are meeting their regulatory requirements. We have undertaken similar reviews in the past on behalf of QCDA and a copy of one of our most recent report is available through the following pdf link. Supporting the Institute of Licensing to achieve awarding body status
The Institute of Licensing (IoL) is committed to becoming an awarding organisation so that they can meet the wide range of needs in their sector for recognised training and development. Stratagia is helping them to review their current organisation, processes and procedures and make changes so that they are eventually in a position to award QCF qualifications for people in the Licensing industry.
CCEA and the Northern Ireland Centre for Cognitive Therapy
Stratagia facilitated a very interesting workshop in Belfast on May 12th to support an exciting development in Northern Ireland. The workshop produced a series of QCF units for qualifications mapped to cognitive therapy programmes. These programmes are designed to enable practitioners in the caring sector who want to use these techniques as part of the work with clients. If you are interested in finding out more about this development, contact Enda@stratagia.co.uk
