Tuesday, November 17th, 2009January – March 2009 Qualifications & Curriculum Authority
New resources had been developed to help teachers deliver the new Society, Health & Development 14-19 Diploma; our task was to evaluate the process used for procuring and delivering these resources. The work included a review of the extensive background materials, interviews with Sector Skills Council representatives, Awarding Bodies and resource authors and facilitation of discussions at a launch event. A topic guide was developed for the interviews and adapted for each audience. An evaluative framework was also created to collate and compare the data gathered from which we were able to produce coherent and well-evidenced findings and recommendations.
